vschneck Once a target is picked out I should able to pick a rotation for my camera to frame it properly. I don't see any icon to rotate the camera.
You can only electronically rotate the camera angle if you have a rotator like the Pyxis (whch an ASIAIR does not support anyway). The mount itself can only rotate the camera angle right at the two celestial poles.
OTA's that are meant as astrographs usually come with a physical camera angle rotator. Check the manual for your OTA.
You can then manually rotate the camera angle, check the angle through a plate solve, rinse and repeat until you are happy with the angle.
