Problem with a ASI120MM

Hi,

I'm a new user of ASI120MM camera. In acquisition stage, video on desktop jump in some frames and I have a lot of problem in allignment stage. I set also the "auto FPS adjust" option but I solve partially the problem to 68-70% value only. I think that it's so low value. PC is an asus notebook, intel core i5, cpu 2.30GHz and usb port 2.0. Can I solve this problem? I think, and hope, that is data trasmission problem "only". Can you halp me, please?

this is depend on USB Bandwith of your PC. nearly no way to solve it

you can try another USB port.

The problem could be that your hard disk is not fast enough to save all the data from the camera. I've had similar issues with other cameras and now use a RAM disk.

The problem appear on preview image earlier that I capture the avi file, also. I think that I don't write on hard disk on this stage, am I wrong? If the problem is usb port i can't solve it on this way, it's wrong?

If it's happening during preview then it's not the disk speed problem. From my 25 years of working in IT the most likely issue is USB. The only other possibility is your processor is overloaded, if you are running any other software at the same time sut it down first.

This is the bad frames in a entire file avi:

the bad frame usually because of high "USB traffic" value

you can try to adjust it lower

I'll try to format windows from notebook and taste the camera again because on another pc it's ok.
