Confirming target fails when using filter

I've just started using a dual narrow band filter (Ha OIII), and have found that after slewing to target the ASIAir is unable to confirm target. I believe this is due to only finding 30 to 40 stars, due to use of Filter. Is there a way to increase the exposure time for this verification. I have "worked around this" by removing the filter from the drawer while slewing, but would prefer not to be handling the filter while the mount is in motion.
Anyone else having this problem?

Go to EFW Settings in ASIAIR.

Tap on Filters and you should see three columns (Slot, Name and "Auto Focus EXP"). They really mean "exposure duration when autofocusing."

You can customize the exposure time individally for each filter.

w7ay Thanks Chen. Howerver, I am not using a filter wheel, but the ZWO Filter Drawer. Will this still work. Doubting I will have access to these settings without a EFW installed?
I need to increase the exposure time as this filter blocks much of the star light, such that with a short exposure it only finds 30-40 stars. Apparently not enough for plate solving. Focus is not the issue. That still works fine with limited number of stars.

I doubt it will work without an EFW, since the EFW Settings window won't even open without one connected :-).

If the cenetering is happening right after a GOTO, you can set its exposure time in the Mount Settings window. But you will need to change that setting when you change filters.

When AoTo Auto-Center is turned on in Mount Settings, you are alsoshown a menu with a choice of exposure times (Center EXP time). Donno why "EXP" is all caps, perhaps they have some acronym in mind.
