Hi,
I would like to see some features for enabling easier Science images capturing. Especialli ExoPlanets - Lightcurves. The following requests relates to that:
FITS file; Add new entries into FITS file to ease up the science workflow, when using AstroimageJ or EXOTIC to do photometrics and calculating BJD_TDB;
1.1 SITELAT and SITELONG , for observatory latitude and longitude.
1.2 RA_OBJ, DEC_OBJ and TARGET , for target RA and DEC in J2000 format. Target name (as is is in the filename today)
Target search. Today it is JNow, but it should be possible to use J2000 as an alternative.
Alternating filters - When doing a Chromatic check to determine if an exoplanet is an exoplanet, and not an eclipsing star. You can do that with alternating between SLOAN g' and i' filters, by alternating. Today, I have to create hundreds of entries, selecting each filter. I would like to have possibillity to select g' filer, 60 sec, focus 16532 , and i' filter 90sec, focus 16240. And repeat 100 times (As an example)
Camera Offset setting. The offset is today default set at 50. I woul like to be able to change that, to fine tune electron capture.
Perhaps these features could be activated under advanced settings, so that other users are not overwhelmed with features. :-)
