I've gotten a lot of good information on this YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aCJxSSykli4&t=330s
Peter outlines his decision to buy a ZWO Asiair1600 for his 250mm focal length scope. My scope's focal lengths are 700 and 1200 mm. It seems I'd need a camera with larger pixels. What is the best ZWO camera for me?
2600MC or if you really want larger pixels (I wouldn't) 2400MC
Could you elaborate on "I wouldn't"
darkskyseeker The 2400 MC has larger sensor but the same 24MP as the 2600MC at double the price. If I am going to spend that amount of money on a camera it would be the 6200MC which is 60MP and the pixels are same size as 2600MC. The little bit of oversampling is not bothering me at all.
Thank you. Your comments have taught me more about the ZWO offerings. I tend to get a little glazed over looking through the product pages. Guidance from a human being really helps me.
