If you’re in station mode your wifi router is responsible for channel selection. All connected devices will be on the channel selected in the routers 2.4 and 5 ghz admin console settings.
If your in hotspot only mode I believe there is a way to select its channel via a special asiairs settings url, perhaps someone can advise how to get there….
