In that case, do you have recommendations for improving the guiding?
As mentioned, I do have the AM5 mount connected to the computer with a USB Cable.
I have enabled ST4 Autoguide, and I can see the Up/Down/Left/Right arrows with the "Play" button in the uppre right corner of the preview screen.
Additionally, when I press "Play", I can see the small cross displays on the preview. Periodically, the Up/Down/Left/Right arrows will flash.
However, the object does not stay centered. I have to manually move the mount (Either using the mount control on the computer, or the hand controller) to make corrections and keep the object centered. Within 10-20 seconds, the object will have moved significantly.
I am using a Celestron C11 (FL = 2800) and an ASI538 camera so it is very high magnification.
Any suggestions for improved auto-guide with this setup would be appreciated.
