usb c to usb a cable problem with ASIAIR+

Can only access the eMMC storage NOT the sd card when connecting computer to ASIAIR+ with the usb c to a cable. Must remove sd card to download photos. Some here say the spring mechanism in the tf slot won’t endure many insertion/extraction cycles. Solution…if any?

Using both usb3 slots, have one usb 2 slot available, but would slow photo saving if I used it for a usb stick. Can’t do without one usb 3 slot because it is for the main camera, asi2600mc pro. The other used for my asi120mm-s.for guiding also a usb 3. One usb 2 slot is for mount control. Why can’t the usb c cable access the sd card? Seems like a dumb situation.
