Switching Tablets During an Imaging Session

Hi!

The other night I was out imaging and my intention was to capture 100 subs. But at around 85 subs my Android tablet was nearly out of power even though it began at 100% charge.

I have another tablet and I am wondering, what would be the process of swapping out tablets during a session? Would I simply stop guiding and imaging with ASIAIR Plus close the app, and reopen it on the 2nd tablet, or will this cause issues?

Or, will I have to shut down ASIAIR Plus and then turn it back on with the fully charged tablet ready to connect?

jsg you can stop and start the app whenever you like, all the astro runs on the Air. You can swap mobile devices, or even run 2 at the same time.

jsg I usually have two phones connected, and it works just fine. No need to stop anything. As franco said, everything runs on ASIair once you start it.

My iPad (preferred IOS device) does not have gps (need cellular version) when away from populated areas (relies on wifi). Will this confuse ASIAir when used with iPhone (which does have gps)? They will have different gps location info.

johnrsims43 Don't worry. ASIAIR will only obtain the location information of the iPad after the location is successful. Before your iPad is successfully located, ASIAIR will not obtain the wrong location address
