I have a similar request so am adding to this one. (The google docs page for requests does not work).
I have 2 ASIAir Pro computers on telescopes. I just bought a Plus. I was going to put the Plus on my favorite scope, and move the Pro to a third telescope. I was assuming I could move the SD card from one to the other, but it turns out the Plus does not use the SD card. While I have the SD card out I was going to make a backup. The instructions for making a backup are all over the place, and I am reluctant to copy unknown apps to my computer.
I have a solution that would fix both of these problems. The ASIAir could have a feature where it SAVEs the configuration AND the license to a folder on the USB stick. Name the folder to match the ASIAir name (wifi name).
If you store on the USB just the configuration and license, and have a RESTORE feature that restores the configuration and license it would allow me to move the configuration for one telescope to a different ASIAir without having to configure the ASIAir Plus from scratch. It would also eliminate the need to back up the SD card. If the SD card is corrupt, copy the image from ZWO, and write it to the SD card using the Raspberry Pi Imager software available on multiple platforms. Then RESTORE the configuration and license from the USB.
It could also be used to resolve the original Post.
