Where is ZWO at with the ASCOM driver that can go beyond the zenith? It has been months in development. With the AM3 being announced, will ZWO release another mount that doesn't have adequate ASCOM zenith handling??
Let's get the AM5 driver properly completed before you start working on the AM3 issues....
