I saw the Seestar at NEAF and ordered one this morning.
I'm interested in it for remote IOTA asteroid occultations and variable star imaging for AAVSO.
The SONY sensor looks great, but for variable star work has an issue with blue and green channels having a HUGE infrared leak (increased sensitivity in IR) and blue leak on red filter.
Would it be possible to buy an IR and UV block filter to add to the system to eliminate this issue?? I know this isn't for everybody, but for some scientific imaging it would be a must-do. Even having the front of the scope threaded to accept 2" screw on filters would fix this!
