How to autoguide with FireCapture?

Hi all. I have an asi120mc and a celestron nexstar 8se. I want to use the autoguiding feature in firecapture to keep the planet centered. My tracking on the 8se isn't great so I could really use the automated assistance.

So what do I need to do? Do I connect the rs232 port on my mount to the USB port on my laptop, or do I need to use the autoguiding port on the zwo?

and set the auto guider to " On camera" in FC

Ok so let me see if I get this right. I connect the usb cable from the camera to the pc, then the st4 cable that came with the camera from the st4 port on the mount to the camera.

Then firecapture will control the mount via the usb cable through the camera?

I'm a bit late to this, but I do know this situation. I have an 8SE and I can confirm that it will not autoguide via the ST4 port in alt-az mode. You need to set it to EQ mode first, and of course, make a wedge for it (Celestron no longer sells these wedges). I never bothered, and instead bought an AZ-EQ6 and when I want to image with my C8, I just mount the OTA on that -- the dovetail bracket that comes with the 8SE works fine for any Vixen-style clamp.
