I have a mini, it is great, but keep in mind it only has USB 2.0, so image transfer especially with high pixel cameras will in theory take 10x longer (480MBit/s vs 5GBit/s).
It does not matter if the camera is in plan mode, as the image is transferred while the next image is being captured.
However, it is annoying for polar alignment and focus finding because you have to wait until the image is transferred to the app.
You have to decide if this time saving is worth 130€.
You also get a higher power output from the ASIAir+, currently I'm running a heq5 mount, the asiair mini, the zwo guidecam and my sonya7iv on asiAir mini power outputs. Live stacking with ZWO cameras is also a feature of the ASIAir+.
