Recalibrate after changing target in plan mode

After changing targets in plan mode my guiding was lost… is it possible to avoid that doing an automatic new guiding calibration after changing targets?

Any other suggestions?

I know you can have it set to recalibrate after AMF. Not sure if you can after each object though. Maybe someone can help out.

What mount are you using?
Generally, ASIAIR will reselect the guided star after changing the target. If your calibration data is available normally, theoretically there is no need to re-calibrate. It is recommend to check if there is an occlusion after changing the target, or if Tracking is turned off abnormally.
If you need to recalibrate the guiding star after AMF, you can find the Recalibrate Guiding after AMF option in App - Mount - Meridian Filp.

I am using a RST-135e. Using it in the South Hemisphere.

Did a test using the option “recalibrate after AMF”. Well, it fixed the issue when I did an AMF, but not when I changed to a target in the other side of the meridian.

This issue occurs when using plan mode, with 2 targets. If I shoot a target, do the homing, and then shoot a target in the other side of the meridian, I have no issues…

If you opened Recalibrate Guiding after AMF, it is recommended that you recalibrate Guiding the next time you start planning

For RTS135e, you don't have to turn on Recalibrate Guiding after AMF, the previous guided star loss problem may be caused by other reasons
