I have just bought an AISAIR plus and a ASI 533 MC pro cam and since then, I have never been able to use the product so far. There is a connection problem between the cam and the AISAIR when using the video mode. It keeps crashing all the time and the image gets frozen. Every time this happens, it is displayed the error message as follows: “please check the connection of the main cam and retry”, but there is no connection problem and shortly after retrying, the cam crashes again and again, no matter if the cam is powered by a dedicated power supply or by the AISAIR itself. The telescope is on top of a HEQ5 mount, which is also powered apart by a power station.
I have also installed the app for android in different devices, namely: a tablet and two smart phones, which have 6GB and 8GB respectively, updated the firmware and the error comes up on all of them. Since I have used other cams with the AISstudio, I tested the cam AIS533 in my laptop and it worked fine. So, I am pretty sure, it is a problem with the AISAIR.
