I am having a hard time trying to connect the ASI533MM Pro to my notebook.
This camera was never used before, this is an attempt for first-light use.
It is an old machine: DELL Vostro 1400 Win 7 64-bit, USB 1.0 (no USB 2.0 or 3.0) (my less old notebook, much more robust, crashed beyond repair...)
ASCOM platform 6.6.1 3673, ZWO ASCOM 6.5.17, and ASI camera driver 3.22 have been installed.
I am using the USB-3.0 cable that came with the camera.
I have tried to connect the camera with ASIImg 1.8.2 (64-bit), PHD2, SharpCap 4.0, and FireCapture 2.7.12.
None of this software succeeded in connecting to the camera.
So, I would need some help, please.
Is Win 7 incompatible with the camera?
Is it a USB incompatibility issue? Or is it something else?
I take this opportunity to ask you: what are the two 2.0 USB ports in the camera used for? How should I use them?
