Supported guide cameras (not main camera) in ASIAIR Plus

The ASIAIR Plus documentation says that a DSLRs cannot be used as a guide camera (I guess that means that a supported DSLR can only be used as a main camera).

My question is this: Can any ZWO camera be used as a guide camera in the ASIAIR Plus? E.g., can I use the ASI585MC as a guide camera (not main camera) on the ASIAIR Plus?

Specifically, I am planning to use the ASIAIR Plus to drive an ASI294MC Pro as the main camera (on a 80mm f/6 scope) and an ASI585MC as a guide camera (on a 40mm f/4.5 scope). Will that work? Also, will the opposite work (585MC as the main camera and the 294MC as the guide camera) on the ASIAIR Plus?

More generally, what are the supported guide cameras on the ASIAIR Plus?

My understanding is any ZWO cameras will work with the ASIAIR+. I’m a beginner so take that with a grain of salt.

Thanks PhotomanTom, I also think it should work, but I am a beginner too.

I asked ZWO support but they have not replied yet.

Perhaps someone with an ASIAIR+ and two ZWO OSC color cameras may be able to verify this for me.

My worry is that the ASIAIR+ will insist that the guide camera cannot be a OSC color camera and must be one of the ZWO listed mono guide cameras?

Or may be with two connected cameras, the ASIAIR+ will automatically by itself decide only one of the two as a usable guide camera (without allowing the user to select the other one as the guide camera)?

Actually I have switched my zwo120mm-s, a guide camera, and my zwo 2600mc pro my main camera back and forth as the main camera in the ASIAIR+ so Icould focus both using the focus feature of the app. The app allowed me to list both as the main camera, one at a time of course.

OK. If multiple cameras are connected, you can choose the ASI camera for the guide in ASIAIR. As long as it's an ASI camera it's fine.
