ASIDeepStack included with ver1.9.1 abends when I add calibration files. No error message, it just quits running. I experimented and found that if I process the calibration files separately and then use those masters with the Lights, the stacking will succeed. This was after restarting my PC and only running ASIStudio.

On Linux, the first time it starts it asks for the root pw to change udev rules. Modern Linux distros don't have root pw's and rely on sudo. If you kill the dialog asking for the root pw, it starts a terminal window and a file browser!
I got around the problem by running ASIStudio the first time with sudo and can see it has installed the udev rules files.

ASI studio does a good job stacking images. I have been getting good Sun images with it and my ZWO camera and 50mm Lunt telescope. There are many interesting flares currently along with the usual sunspots.
My request is that you add a TIFF option (16bit) to the export so I can easily put it into Lightroom. The FITS file isn't recognized. I am also open to any suggestions for an easy FITS to TIFF converter.
