I have been using a very small led tracing panel to take flat frames. Its not too bright, however, If I use auto in autorun to take a flat frame say with Oiii, my ZWO 2600 shuts down. It may take two shots, 10sec or more rolls by and disconnects. If I move the slider to the middle of the screen it will work. I use this panel on my ASKAR FRA 500. I tried my larger panel which can be very bright, but it cannot be used even on the lowest setting as the camera shuts down. Bit of a pain when you get to the right temperature and have to restart the ASAIR all the time. I thought that being in auto it would somehow compensate. I do get a message sometimes to turn the exposure down. I tried to take a flat at 1 second with both panels and the camera disconnects. I can re connect again but it will not cool down unless I reboot. Got the jack of this and re set the ASAIR but still occurs. Am I doing something wrong? So I just use my very small panel and ensure that the slider is as far to left as it goes. I have the zwo 178 mono as a guide camera, zwo 2600 mono, zwo7 position filter wheel (plugged into the zwo 2600), zwo EAF, usb 2 for my mount plugged into the ASAIR plus(SW AZEQ6 powered separately). I just upgraded my gear from a zwo 183 pro colour and never had this occur. Also, the 183 will always sit on -10, but the zwo 2600 fluctuates from -9 to -10 or a little above. Not sure if that normal. The actual messages are like device changed camera zwo 2600 pro lost connection please re plug in and connect manually or Exposure failed the autorun stopped.
