ASI2600MC DUO - guiding and capturing software at the same time?

the ASI2600MC Duo will be delivered soon. Is ASIStudio able to perform guiding and image capturing of the ASI2600MC DUO at the same time?

pixlimit ASIStudio does not include a guiding feature currently, you can perform guiding in third-party software, such as PHD2.

It is not thought through to the end, what a pity. The camera concept is a good idea, not a good idea is to use two different applications. Maybe this will change...

pixlimit The ASI2600 Duo is still 2 cameras, just in one body. As with any setup, you will need image capturing software and guiding software. If you have an ASIAir, use it. If you use a PC for your imaging, software such as NINA or Astrophotography Tool, will work along with PHD2 for guiding.

Are there ZWO filter drawers to use 38mm filter to cover APS-C sensor but keep guide chip free?

I get it, one camera, two different software... the question still arises, why so complicated? SBIG has introduced such a concept years ago, with exactly one software... I think ZWO has not thought it through to the end here, but maybe the producer will react ;-)
