Calibration frames when using ROI

Does anyone have advice on how to use calibration frames when using ROI? Is it possible to find out the position of the ROI in the whole frame so I can extract the ROI area and location from a whole frame bias or flat frame? It would be handly if the ROI location was stored in the log file.

you can capture some calibration frames when run at the ROI resolution
