I use ASIAIR with, among other cameras, ASI178mc. However, the highest resolution video offered is 1080p (and even that is choppy even at 5GHz WiFi). However, why would it not be possible to capture video at higher resolution of 6MP available on camera and then perform stacking in camera? Perhaps with a preview (sent to the iPad) of lower resolution? The advantage, for example, is being able to capture video of full moon/sun at 6MP original resolution rather than be forced to post-process to create a mosaic - not possible on ASIAIR itself...
