denababy I need to set the zero and maximum positions and to do that I will need, I think it’s called, the ZWO dashboard.
Since you are posting this to the ASIAIR forum, I presume that you are using ASIAIR. You can change those two parameters from the ASIAIR's own Focuser Settings window:
If by zero, you mean the current position of the EAF, just tap on the "Current Position" text field in the Control box, and edit it. The EAF always assume 0 to be the minimum value (it cannot be changed for some braindead reason).
The max position is the "Limit" field further down in the Step Settings box.
When you are editing, make sure that the Current position is in between 0 and the Limit.
The only time you need to use ASIStudio to change EAF parameters is when you want to give the EAF a unique name (I do that because I have a separate EAF on my guide scope).
