I have my AM5 mounted on a pier in an observatory. I control my imaging session with NINA, and at the end of a sequence NINA sends my mount to Alt 01:00:00 Az 01:00:00, which has my telescope pointing at my flat panel and well out of the way so that my roof can close safely. Several times now I have come out in the morning to find that my mount is rotated westward by about 15 degrees. I know that it has moved after NINA was complete and everything was shut down because my roof will not close unless it detects that my scope is in the above position.
Today, I was working on some things in my observatory. I ran a sequence to test some changes, and when I was finished I powered down my computer, but did not power down the mount. An hour later, I noticed that the mount had rotated in RA by about 10-15 degrees. I used the hand controller and moved it back to the above co-ordinates, and then unplugged the hand controller thinking that perhaps it could be causing the movement. After another hour, the mount had again rotated about 5-10 degrees - again in RA only.
Any way to diagnose what could be causing this?
