Connecting ASIAIR Plus to Windows 11 notebook via Ethernet

Since I wasn't able to find a post that detailed the steps I though I would outline them here for anyone who was looking at connecting the ASIAIR Plus to a Windows 11 notebook running the ASIAIR App using BlueStacks 5.

For my notebook running Windows 11 using the ASIAIR App via Bluestacks 5:

Connect Ethernet cable from AA+ to notebook.
Wait a while for the network connection to establish. Check this in network settings. Check that the AA+ has allocated an IPv4 address to the notebook.
If you are connected to your home Wi-Fi still - you should now be connected to both your home Wi-Fi (with Internet access) and the Ethernet connection to the AA+. Otherwise make sure WiFi is off.
Start up BlueStacks 5.
After BlueStacsk 5 has started up, now switch over to the AA+ Wi-Fi. So now you should be connected the AA+ through both Wi-Fi and Ethernet.
Start the ASIAIR App. Select Enter Device at the startup screen. You should eventually connect.
Now - select the network/Wi-Fi symbol in the ASIAIR settings. You should now see an IP address for "Wired Ethernet". Make a note of this IP address.
Exit the ASIAIR App (leaving the AA+ on).
Now - to test you can connect over the Ethernet - turn off your Wi-Fi.
In BlueStacks - start up the ASIAIR App again.
Here, the connection might fail. If it does - select to Enter IP address and enter the IP address you made note of in step 7 then try to connect.
You should now be connected to the AA+ via Ethernet.
Assuming the IP address doesn't change - subsequent/future connections should just go straight through.

Were you able to connect using the AA+ name instead of the IP address? I'm doing something similar with a travel router - but I can see the AA+ device name, but fail to connect. I can only connect by manually entering the IP address. Any way to connect to the device without manually entering the IP address every time?

Hi, I followed the steps carefully, however, in step 7, when clicked on the red WIFI symbol on ASIAIR App, no IP address showed up. I am using ASIAIR 2.1.2, and model ASIAIR Plus. I am able to connect with ASIAIR WIFI, but I want to connect with ethernet.

TomNSDIT Hmm. I'm still using 2.1-10.74.

This is what I see when I click on the WiFi symbol. You can see there is an IP address listed under Wired Ethernet.

What does the screen look like in your version of the firmware?
