I have a reducer/flattener on my Sharpstar94 scope. I have been watching a few videos and one says that if you are using a reducer then you must change the setting ( focal length) on the relevant page in the ASIAIR plus. Is this right? If so what do I change it to?

Yes. The reducer shortens the focal length of your system. Multiply the focal length of the scope by the reducer factor to get the value. For instance if your scope has a focal length of 1000mm and you apply a .7x focal reducer, your resulting focal length is 700mm.

When the ASiair plate solves, it'll correct the focal length on its own (since it knows the size of the sensor being used).

Set your guide scope and camera as main camera also to check focal length. You will be surprised how wrong the published figures can be.
