Primarily to achieve high frame rates for "lucky imaging." (Check wikipedia.)
Smaller pixels may also allow you to not having to use Barlows.
With short exposures, dark noise is so low that a cooler is superfluous -- save money and battery power.
The 6200MC is arguably the worst possible choice for planetary work.
Check other manufacturers too. Some have better USB 3 implementation for their planetary cameras that allows faster frame rates.
