Suddenly last night… no connection to the mount

I’ve had this ASIAIR Plus for a few months and until last night I loved it. I’m using v2.1.1(10.74). I usually connect to my Losmandy Gemini II through the Serial USB port. Switched everything on last night and for the first time, could not get the ASIAIR to communicate with the Gemini II controller. Is there any troubleshooting guide in a manual?

Good luck finding a meaningful manual from ZWO. I’d try the reset button on the ASIAIR+, I used it once for a lockup issue and haven’t had any problems since.

Most of the time these connection failures are due to bad contacts in the cable connectors. Continually putting and removing connections is not good. The ideal is to have a fixed installation and fixed connections.
A contact cleaner helps if you have no choice but to assemble and disassemble every night, they can be found on Amazon.
