Video of ISS pass, need suggestions for faster shutter speed

Did a video of an ISS pass last night. Did fairly well but had to have exposure of 1/3 sec and gain all the way up using SharpCap. I tried Firecapture but couldn't get an exposure anywhere near what I did with SharpCap (I was able to get focus with it though). I used the supplied lens.

Anybody have any suggestions on how I can get a shorter exposure so I can get a better video?

Also does SharpCap do dark frame adjustment?

Hi Mike

yes, sharpcap support dark subtract function.

its in the "video capture filter"

to get a better video you need to change the lens of the camera

the best lens will be a telescope

Thanks Sam. I will look up the dark correction. This was an education to get used to the camera. It would have taken me too long to get my telescope out and it would not have been appropriate for the ISS anyway. I hope to have my telescope out this weekend to continue my education.
