Orion2013 I cannot get a good color image, there's a hint of color
Does the image looks like it has a magenta or light brownish hue (depending on time of day you took the picture)?
If so, the cause is because you did not include a UV-IR Cut filter in the light path. The ASI533MC uses an anti-reflection window and is sensitive to near-IR. On a hot day, the IR part of the response swamps the visible spectrum.
It is is really monodhome (no color whatsoever), the cause would be the need to deBayer the image.
