Dear ASIAIR users,
first I have been using the ASIAR with an Skywatcher AZ-EQ5 for year without any problems.
Since a couple of imaging sessions I am also using the Rainbow Astro RST-300 with my ASIAIR. Before I used SGPRO with this mount, also without problems.
Now to the Problem:
I have two Objects in my plan mode.
Object one: 25 Cephei, imaging starts east of meridian.
-Centering, Auto Fokus, guiding and imaging works as expected
-Meridian Flip
-Centering, Auto Fokus, guiding and imaging continues to work as expected
Now the second object starts
-New Object is on the east, so the mount performed a "reverse" Meridian Flip.
This is where the double starts. All images from now on are hugely trailed in RA only. I am not sure if tracking is off or RA guiding commands are reversed.
This behavior always happens when doing such a reversed Meridian Flip. Currently it can be solved only by stopping everything, delete calibration data and then re-start. But for this I have to wake up in the middle of the night to do this.
I have the option to re-calibrate after meridian flip on (Tried off as well, no change).
Not sure what the problem exactly is, but maybe someone can help with a solution.
Here is the log file of said imaging session.
