Here we go again, DST ends Nov. 5th

What happens if someone is imaging on Nov. 5th at midnight? Does our ASIAIR melt in confusion over the time change? Any time settings to adjust?

What it probably means is that my AM5 will probably do a succesfull meridian flip for the first time... instead of crashing into the pier with (1 hr to go until flip)

Just need to turn off DST in your mount settings, no need to change others.
ASIAIR will handle it.

In the ASIAIR, when looking at the app, there are actually two times.

There's the time in the top left corner. This is the time at your location/ time of your device. Let's call this the App Time.

Then there's the Mount Time which you can see when you enable the mount in mount settings.

During DST the Mount Time will be one hour behind the App Time. You'll also always see the ⚠️ message about DST. This is how it should be. (See screenshot attached)

So, when DST ends, the App Time will go back one hour - but the Mount Time should remain unchanged.

Now, whether the ASIAIR looks at the App Time or the Mount Time for certain functions... not sure.

I'll submit a log next time I'm out. Anyway, there is no way to turn off DST in the AM5. You guys should know this already.
