Thumb drive woes.

Hi me again.
I bought a new zwo camera, the 2600 mc so I thought I’d also get a new bigger thumb drive, I got one that is over 900gb but when I plugged the device ( into usb3 slot) there was nothing. I tried it on two laptops but got the same result. When I initially plugged in the device there was an audible beep but nothing on the screen. I spent over three hours imaging last night and every image was saved to the thumb drive. Does only the thumb drive that came with my ASIAIR plus work?

Uhm, if the thumb drive doesn’t work on 2 laptops nor the ASIAIER, sounds like a bad thumb drive. I have an AA Pro and have used several different thumb drives for image capture.

Did you format the thumb drive before first use? What format did you use?

Hi, I’ve tried again this morning but the drive is not recognised on either of my laptops. I went into file explorer then clicked on pc, from there there should be an option to format but that option is not there. Seems I have a bad unit. Thanks for your reply.
