When I got the Seestar and used it 3 days ago, when the phone connected to the Seestar, it did have the WiFi symbol at the top of the phone. After a few hours of imaging, I switched to another app and let the Seestar app run in the background. When I did that the WiFi symbol went away.
I have now tried 3 different devices, including an iPad because someone in the Seestar forum said it was a bug with iOS 17. And that it didn't affect the iPads. But the iPad is the same, it can connect for a bit to the Seestar, but the WiFi symbol never shows up at top on any of the devices.
I have pressed the Reset button now dozens of times, deleted and reinstalled the App also. But the WiFi symbol never ever displays at top, just the 5G. The device will once in a while Connect with the Seestar, but still no WiFi symbol, and pressing most any button in the Stargazing mode will cause the app to say its disconnecting. Maybe the app was letting me in through Bluetooth?
I have tried putting the phone in Airplane mode, still won't connect.
So I am left to believe that maybe something got messed up in the Seestar? Because if it was my original phone with the issue, the other phone and the iPad shouldn't have the same problem with the WiFi.
The Reset button only seems to reset the WiFi. Is there anyway to get the Seestar to reset back to factory defaults? Maybe that would help?
Thanks
