I would like to ask for your help as I am installing my equipment in Spain and I would like to use 2 telescopes at the same time for the AM5 mount, with a total weight of 17,5 kg (Skywatcher Esprit 120/840 0,77 reducer, Askar Fra400 0,7 reducer). I would like to mount the Askar telescope on top of the Esprit, but the recommended distance from the centre of gravity to the axis of rotation of the mechanics is more than 20 cm. Of course I would use it with counterweight (5kg), but I am still unsure if it can work properly and if the guiding can remain perfect. Thanks in advance for any comments, as I haven't really found a forum for this yet, although I have seen some people using it with a 15-16kg telescopes (e.g. Sharpstar SCA260).
