Asi533MM with add-on anti-dew strip and EFW

I recently noticed dew forming on my 533MM sensor, so I purchased one of ZWOs anti-dew/dew heater sensor strips that installs on the front of the camera. I also have an EFW bolted directly to the front of the camera. I am wondering tho if it’s okay to use this dew heater for this set up….as the strip gets totally pinned between the camera front and the EFW. All the install instructions I see online seem to show this sensor dew heater on OSC cams that do not have an EFW bolted to the camera. And not sure if it’s safe to use with a monochrome cam bolted to an EFW…..where it will definitely end up squished between the camera and filter wheel. Anyone used this anti dew sensor heater with an EFW??

Galunga I am using this same setup with my ASI1600mm pro and it's working just fine. I hope you get the same results with your ASI533mm pro.

Fantastic to hear! I just installed it, withe the dew heater strip in between the 533MM pro and the EFW.....great to know it is safe to do so, I just wasn't sure with the orientation of the heating elements and the fact that it ends up fully pinned between the camera and the EFW. Now I can move ahead w/confidence it's all good. Really appreciate the response here @djennings16 !!
