S50 Master Dark Files

Hi, first of all just want to say the S50 is fantastic. Kuddos to ZWO.

So I want to ask about the MasterDark FIT files. I have noticed that on every night session I do I get a single new MasterDark file regardless of how many sky objects I get images from.

1) The MasterDark file seems to be related only to the last object I work on. Is that correct? If so, that seems to be a bug or issue.
2) Also, The MasterDark files contain a single layer B&W. When I try to use it in Siril, for instance, I can't because it is not an RGB file. Any reason for this?

I think a single MasterDark file containing all three RGB layers should be created inside each sky object's RAW (TIF) folder to make it less confused. Please advice. Thanks

Hi Nchastro,
I am using pixinsight to postprocess the imaging session with seestar50. I noticed that the masterdark is in landscape whereas the subframe are in portrait, so I asked pixinsight to rotate the masterdark 90° I chose clockwise randomly and now I can use the masterdark to postprocess, have you try to check this?

Seestar can automatically calibrate the dark field during the shooting process, so no additional operations are required.
