I'm experiencing connectivity problems with my ZWO ASI camera and ASIAIR. The camera keeps disconnecting intermittently, making it difficult to capture images or control settings. I'm looking for advice on how to establish a stable connection. Additionally, I'm seeking guidance on the correct configurations and any known compatibility issues between the camera models and the ASIAIR device. Same problem for me, many disconnection...

Try replacing the usb connector cable if it is a guide camera or both usb and power supply cable if it is an imaging camera. I have replaced all my flat cable guide camera usb cables and it stopped my disconnects. Try wiggling the wire at the camera to check live, but always better to get a good cable anyways.

gillshreyas I just replaced old flat usb cables with high quality high speed cables. If it is a usb2 then replace with a usb2, you do not need to go usb3 on everything. I just found good quality braided cables on Amazon and get the shortest cable you can get away with as there is no use for extra lengths. Go for cables with a few thousand 4+ stars as that ensures there are no QC issues.
