Seestar app with a Chromebook

I have a Chromebook tablet. Unfortunately, I cannot connect to the S50. I'm getting a Bluetooth error. Are there any plans to make the Seestar app compatible when using Android apps with a Chromebook?

Same issue here. It'd be lovely to connect it to my Lenovo Tab 3 so I can show and teach my students

I have an old Chromebook Acer R11. Almost useless as its no more updates from Google.
Anyhow i tested with the Seestar app and it works great except for that its not possible to rotate the app 90'. So even if the screen is big the app screen is not bigger than from my phone.

If the app could be rotated 90' i could actually use my old Chromebook for something usefully as the screen is big and it have good battery capacity.

I have a year old Chromebook and it just hangs at the connect screen. It would be great if you could put it in station mode and then connect without needing Bluetooth.

Hi Team,

Any news on this? I tried to run the app on my Chromebook the other day for some Astronomy outreach viewing the Sun next weekend, and although the app runs and connects to bluetooth, it won't get past the "Connect to WLAN" page. Clicking the Open WLAN Settings button works. I connect to the SeeStar S50 network fine, but cannot move past that page. Pushing "back" doesn't work like it does on the phone/tablet.

Can you make this work so we can use the SeeStar for safe solar viewing on the big screen please?

Since Seestar only focuses on the use of mobile phones and tablets, we haven't made any adaptations for the computer side, and we haven't specifically adapted Chromebooks. We really don't know about this.
