I had a rare semi clear day yesterday, and decided to break out the Coronado Solarmax 90 mk 1 (Pre Mead buyout) and try for some solar imaging.
I discovered that I can't use either of my DSLRs (Pentax K-1, Canon 70D) since there's not enough in-focus to reach focus with them or i don't have the right adapter to use..
So it was back to the ZWO ASI174mm for imaging which is just a bit too small to get the entire disk in one image.
This is a stack of 2700 frames shot on auto in Sharpcap 4.1
Stacked in PIPP to a Fits file, then BXT in PixInsight and final processing in Photoshop.
Photoshop adjustments included adjustments to contrast, highlights, shadows, clarity, texture, Dehaze, and sharpening, and colorizing the Mono image.
