eyepiece focal length equivalent ?

hi all,

i recently acquired the asi 120mm. i seem to be having issues achieving focus when replacing my E.P with the camera. can someone suggest a focal length that is similar to the camera?

also would it be recommended to not use my diagonal? i'm aware of how uncomfortable it would be not to use it, but i'm aware that less glass is better. i have a celestron 127 mak.

the back focus of the camera is 12.5mm

so you need to adjust focuser inside 12.5mm when focus ok with a eyepiece

SORRY IF I SOUND A BIT OF A DIV. BUT...

DO YOU MEAN THAT BECAUSE THE BACK OF THE CAMERA IS 12.5MM AWAY, NO MATTER WHAT EYE PIECE I USE, I WOULD STILL HAVE TO TURN THE FOCUSER KNOB ON MY OTA BY 12.5MM TO COMPENSATE?
