My EFW suddenly stopped rotating. In N.I.N.A it no longer shows the names assigned to the four filters I have inserted. In ASIStudio it shows the assigned names but still will not rotate. I have used it only for less than two months with it initially working great. I am confused over the need for drivers. The EFW user manual starts off saying that you do not have to install drivers for the EFW but a couple of paragraphs later it says to install the ASI filter wheel ASCOM driver. i cannot find this driver anywhere.

thomsdak What operating system are you running?

If Windows, when you go here - https://www.zwoastro.com/downloads - you can see the ASCOM Driver is used to control many things including the EFW. That's what it is referring to - but I assume you installed this already?

Corsair I am using Windows 10. I have downloaded the ASCOM driver and the Device Manager now shows this Device ID info:
      Hid\Vid 248A&PID_8367&REV_0100&MI_00_0Co104
      248A&PID_8367&MI_00&Co104
      248A&UP:0001_U:0000
In addition, I cannot find any of the next four widows sown in the EFW manual:
      Camera Control
      Setup ASCOM
      ASCOM Filter Wheel Chooser
The ZWO Filter Wheel Setup V....
      I appreciate your help.

thomsdak You do not need to install the driver for EFW if you use our software-ASIStudio to control it, it works via native SDK.
But for some 3rd party software, they can only control our EFW via ASCOM platfrom in this case, you must to install ASCOM driver.
