In the following sections of the ASIAir App in the following sections what do these settings mean and do? If there is a document somewhere that discusses this then please send me a link

What best for a C8 with F/6.3 with a focal length around 1300mm. If I want to go F/10, 2032 do I need to change any of the parameters below. I'm imagine guiding is harder at longer focal lengths.

Mount Section:
GoTo Auto-Center😮n or Off. What happens for each?
Center EXP Time: Choices are 2s 5s 10s 20s. When to change a time?
Guiding Speed: Choices are 0.25X 0.5X 0.75X 0.9X Which one to chose. None were selected at first, i.e. all grayed out. I chose 0.9X What is it doing? What if I choose other times?

Guide Section
Calibration Step: What is this for? What should it be set to? Does it depend on focal length?
Max DEC Duration: What does this do?
Max RA Duration: What does this do?

Thanks. But still no explanation for guide speeds. Why choose ,25X vs .9X

I understand ZWO might be using PHD2 guiding. I looked at their user guide. Maybe they have similar setting.

Check the phd2 guiding manual. It explains guide speeds there, but I think you will find this is a bit of trial and error setting.

Default is normally 0.5X. Some people with ZWO AM5 mounts try other settings, but 0.5X works for me.

Haven't had a chance to look at PHD2 user manual yet.

I notice when I start guiding on ASIAir, if your slew rate speed is not already set to "1" (in my case for an AVX mount), the ASIAir will prompt you to select "1" in the dialog box. So choosing 0.5x in the ASIAir Mount section means half the rate as "1"? AVX mount slew speed in the hand controller allows a range of 1 - 9, 9 being the fastest.

Anyone play around with these settings that can provide some advise to these questions?
Does a slower rate, .ie 0.25x mean it would be more precise in holding a certain position?

Does a slower rate, i.e 0.25x mean it would take longer to bring RA and DEC curves closer together on the graph?

What happens if you change this setting on the fly while guiding, eg change from .9x to .25x. The graph shows the RA and Dec are close together now change to the slowest rate to see if it maintains.
