Looking for some definitive answers to what version of coordinates need to be used in a plan and how valid are they after an extended period of time like a month or longer. My understanding has been that the ASIAIR uses JNOW coordinates. My understanding of JNOW is that they constantly change so if you are planning for something in the future maybe several months in advance they will be off. Is this correct and is my limited understanding of JNOW coordinates correct? Also if this is correct, does this mean for custom objects that have no catalog id?
As an example of this, I had a plan for M31 thuat I put together probably about 8 months ago. I decided to modify it and add a second target of M31 to it with a different exposure time. The coordinates for the two groups of exposures (old, and new) for the same target were not the same. Just looking for a definitive understanding of how planning mode handles coordinates.
