Please ask your developers to properly sign the MacOS distribution of ASIStudio so that we do not get this error:
Error:
“ASIStudio” cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified. macOS cannot verify that this app is free from malware.
Since ZWO already provides iOS software in the Apple App store, the iOS developers already have to properly sign the iOS ZWO software with ZWO's developer certificate. It seems like it shouldn't take much more effort to also sign the MacOS software.
I am already aware how to disable this message so that I can run the software in my Mac, but I think it would be a much nicer experience for Apple Mac users if ASIStudio didn't require this work around.
