Went to the ZHO site and downloaded the latest driver - the 120mm
Ran it and it said that the driver was properly installed as before,
plugged in the camera and got an audible beep but nothing else.
wnet tg device manager and the camera was shown under imaging devices along with the HP truevision HD built in webcam
clicked on the device and it showed -- location - Location 0 (Port_#0003.Hub_#0001)
status - This device cannot start. (Code 10)
Clicked on driver and it showed the ZHO driver dated 8/28/2014 - and then clicked on driver details and showed :
c:\Windows\System 32\Drivers\AS120MM.sys - provider Cypress Semiconductor file version 3.04.0007.000
c:\Windows\system 32\drivers\ksthunk,sys - provider Microsoft Corporation - file version 6.1.7600.16385(win7_rtm.090713-1255)
I am not a Windows expert but my computer is a 64 bit OS and the driver looks like a 32 bit driver? Is this the problem?
This is after loading the new version several times and then the older version several time on a brand new HP 15 laptop ith Win 7 Home Premium.
What next? - BTW I tried twice t send a message to the above address and it was returned as rejected by the ZWO server -
