What's the status of the CAA rotator?
jwaters125 Do not have ETA yet.
Is there an estimated date for its release? Tech@ZWO
avpinedo Nope
This is the reason I am thinking of ditching the ASIAIR and moving to NINA in order to have a serviceable rotator, it's about time you got a little more serious with the rotator instead of giving glib answers like "nope" and "not yet" Why is it not ready yet? what's the issue?
smeegles We just want to ensure that the products in our hands are tested multiple times without any mistakes. CAA is expected to be released in the first half of this year. Thank you for your support and I'm sorry to make you feel bad.
smeegles
Me too. Here up north season starts on August and I need a rotator then. Would like to know if ZWO can deliver one before that, of if I have to buy some other brand one.
smeegles And who exactly are you to demand to demand an answer? Talk about arrogant. If you need a rotator so badly go elsewhere. Good riddance. It's a luxury piece of gear. Absolutely not needed to take amazing images.
Now its already February. Any news about the release of the CAA?
ZWO stated "first half of the year" just one post above...
Are there any plans to support this rotator on ASIair?
raawe Of course, ASIAIR will support our CAA.
Tech@ZWO Awesome! Can't wait for it to be released. This is one thing that is missing from my observatory and I am more than willing to wait for it. š
Will the ZWO rotator, if it ever exists, be compatible with all versions of the Asiair, or only with the latest version of the Asiair Plus?
Good morning, we are already in May and we are still rotating, when will it be released?
Where can I buy a ZWO rotator. In Europe or elsewhere on the Earth?
Awaiting release dates also!!!
They said in the other thread that it will be published in the end of this year. They also said on beginning of this year that it will be published during the first half of this year. Very likely this new due date will not hold either. I will go for other brands. And thus also to other software than ASIAIR... StellarMate already installed in NUC-PC.
I understand that their priority now is the new Seestar and maybe some new futures for this Telescope but Iām sure that ZWO will acomplish with their commintment ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ No pressure @Tech@ZWO šā¦ā¦ā¦. 15 days left š
franksnow If their priority is in new Seestar, I have even more reasons to jump in other system. If they want to profile themselves a toy company, by all means they can do so, but not with my money. š¤£
