AM5 + ASIAIR Plus setup fails meridian flip in cold weather

My setup using the ASIAIR Plus and AM5 failed in three consecutive nights in temperatures in the mid 20’s degrees F (-4 degrees C). When the meridian is reached, the AM5 goes to “home” position and it all ends then. The Autorun is programmed to go for three more hours after the flip. The icons for the flip are On in both the mount and the autorun menus. The flip runs smoothly in warmer weather (45 degrees F and warmer). What could be causing this failure? I did dry runs indoors before and after the field trip, and it run smoothly both times.

I replied earlier in a different new discussion, I was having problems with logging in.
Thank you for responding. I did try what you asked me to do , in About > Bug report I get a small window asking to select topic and enter a description of the problem. It doesn’t recognize the selected topic “Meridian flip” and it doesn’t let me proceed. Am I missing something ? Thanks.

Equatorianva Thanks, i did saw a log with 'Meridian flip fails' description, but the log was almost empty.
ASIAIR will clear the log except autorun after you power off it, but there is no autorun log in the submission as well. Can you please reproduce the problem and submit the log again? thanks.

When I went into the ASIAIR report log in About > Bug report, it did not accept the Meridian flip option selection , I was able to go further only by selecting "Other" option. So, it may be under "Other" instead. This failure occurred in three consecutive nights (all in the -4 degree C range). But afterwards, while indoors, the meridian flip executed flawlessly.
I will try it again when we get similar weather conditions..

Equatorianva Thank you very much. whatever classification you choose, all logs on the ASIAIR should be submitted. but i did not find autorun and other log in your submission, so i suspect they were cleared after power off.
Waiting for your next test and log, do not forget to submit the log before power off, and please let me know the bug ID.
