firecapture 2.4 beta, win XP and usb traffic

Dear all,

I've installed my asi034mc on an old pentium M 750 windows xp notebook with 2gb ram but i can't find the usb traffic setting.... Where is?

you need to start firecapture and you should see a little blue cog in the exposure settings area, click on the cog and it will let you adjust the brightness, gamma and the usb traffic, i usually leave it at about 50

Hi Robert, thanks so much! Why you leave it at 50? i thought that was be much higher possible, am i wrong?

you can test it in your computer

some computer can set it higher, some won't

it means good if you see no freeze issue

Thank oyu Sam, but wich parameters i've to seen to check it? if it's to high or low? what do you mean with "freze issue"?

with my old Dell D610 laptop i can slide the usb traffic switch up to 90 which will increase the amount of fps i can get, but with my desktop i can only go as high as 55, if i go higher the screen freezes and you can get a message that says capture fail.

easiest way to get more fps is to use the ROI frame size to just over the target you want, the smaller the frame size the faster the fps without moving the usb traffic slider

i've seen that dell d610 is a pentium M 760 processor, my HP is a pentium M 750 so i think the usb traffic settings will be similar....or not? what grafic card has the d610?

its a mobile intel 915gm express chipset family, nothing fancy.

Like mine..... but i've had problems with xp, so i've try to install win7 (incredible but the ram memory is better optimized in 7 ) i hope there are no problems wito 034mc drivers
